History

It’s difficult to talk about the Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research without mentioning the person behind it, Sabrina Cohen. Sabrina has astounding people skills, an unparalleled zest for life and is inspiring to everyone who crosses her path. It’s no wonder becoming “the” spokesperson for stem cell research is in her plans. She believes her wheelchair is her vehicle to promote change in the world.

With a desire to connect with people that have been through similar life changing circumstances, Sabrina established the Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research in 2006. The foundation has numerous goals to accomplish:

Educate the public about stem cell research and its potential through public speaking engagements.
Help fund the research in order to fully explore it.
Engage the public for their support through events and fundraising drives.
To financially support  the top U.S. scientists in transforming research into medical breakthroughs.

Sabrina wholeheartedly believes that if all the disease group organizations along with their unique mission statements decide to collaborate, in addition to the general public, awareness will undeniably turn into action. This will revolutionize the world of science as we know it.
